With the arrival of Spring, the Antiques are being readied for repurposing. While the evenings and night time temps are still hitting the freezing mark and staining doesn't fare well at those colder temps, sanding and dis-assembly can still be accomplished. Just take a look at the featured item this month - called "Ladies In Waiting" 2 Stylish Entrance Tables.
This is one of a pair of end tables I spied in the far corner of the auction estate sale in Russell, KY. Actually, they were supporting a pile of boxes containing assorted antique door knobs and hardware, most of which were rusted and uninteresting. Upon further investigation, rearranging, and a little dusting off, the beautiful cherry wood peeked through - I knew I'd found "two diamonds in the rough".
